This week we have been learning about Money. To help us recognise the coins and do simple addition problems we set up a Mud Kitchen Cafe. We enjoyed taking orders from the customers and using real money to pay for our meals.
We had great fun training with Olympic Athlete Daniel Purvis. We loved watching him walking on his hands and doing back flips. We asked him questions about keeping fit and healthy. Thank you Daniel!
This week we enjoyed a rainy Autumn Walk to Lostock Park. We collected leaves, conkers and twigs which we will be using for creative activities over the next couple of weeks. Thanks to all the Parents who joined us.
This week as part of our child led learning the children decided to bake and make cards for the Homeless. On Tuesday all the children either baked or decorated cakes which were then delivered to Cornerstone in Manchester. We received a message that they were very touched by the lovely cards and…

We are prepared for all weathers with our wellies and waterproofs!
The children are becoming very independent and getting themselves suitably dressed for outdoor learning in all weathers.

This week we have enjoyed lots of stories linked to Halloween and we have seen lots of Halloween inspired Role Play. Some of the stories we’ve enjoyed are; ‘Room on the Broom’, ‘Winnie the Witch’ and ‘Pumpkin Soup’.
The new curiosity cube is doing amazing things for promoting questions and wondering. We will be changing it weekly and it will include items for discussion and will often be accompanied by a book. Please talk to your child about it.
