Today the children decorated their book sleeves which they sewed together using a running stitch last week. They added decorations and fastenings to their creations following their design criteria!

Today Year 4/5 did a wonderful class mass with the theme of hope looking towards the New Year!
Jennifer and Isla carried out a wonderful and inspiring Celebration of the Word for our third week of Advent with the theme of joy!
Today the children were visited by Sister Anne and Anne who did a wonderful assembly followed by a workshop with the children centred around Advent. The children took part in a Celebration of the Word and completed an activity based on the theme of Hope!
Today Jai and Yusuf performed a wonderful liturgy for the class celebrating the start of Advent.
Today the children were exploring persuasive writing and we looked at an example text in class, working in pairs to highlight examples of the key features such as facts and statistics and rhetorical questions. We will right our own persuasive piece about why bullfighting should be banned!
Today we were responding to our classmates’ Google Forms in our computing lesson and then we collected in our responses, transferred them into a spreadsheet using Google Sheets and analysed our data! We worked out the average of our numerical responses and practised using conditional formatting to colour-code our responses!
A wonderful liturgy based on the theme of Hope by Helna, Emily and Zaynab! They set us the mission of living in hope this week and praying to God to strengthen our hope.
