Nicole and Olivia led our class in a very prayerful class celebration of the Word. The theme was ‘Caritas Sunday’ which takes place this Sunday.
Y6E enjoyed a workshop with our visitors from NSPCC today. We learned about the importance of speaking out and staying safe.
Year 6E were set the task of finding out who was to blame for the Peterloo Massacre. They looked at a variety of sources and made their decision.
Daniel from 6E led the Jubilee procession today as we received the anchor from St Antony’s.
St Hugh himself visited year 6 today. Our patron saint reminded us of our school values on ‘Values Day’.
Year 6 enjoyed getting messy whilst making their own digestive systems in science today. All of the children then wrote brilliant explanations about the process.
Year 6 enjoyed visiting our local war memorials this morning. The children have been learning about how conflict has shaped our local area.
The whole school enjoyed songs from around the world today! From Australia to Ireland everyone joined in. Y6E did an amazing job opening the show.
