During our Autumn walk we explored the changes happening all around us. The children noticed the leaves turning beautiful shades of red, orange and yellow and enjoyed collecting some that had fallen to the ground. We listened to the crunching sound as we walked through the leaves and talked about the changing weather.
The children spotted acorns, pine cones and berries and we chatted about how animals might use these to prepare for winter. We also looked at bare branches and trees still holding onto their colourful leaves helping us to understand how nature changes in Autumn. Many thanks to the parents/carers who joined us on this lovely autumn day!
