The children enjoyed baking biscuits for Valentine’s Day linked to this week’s Maths learning. We explored mass and measures in a practical and fun way. We used scales and measuring cups to weigh the flour, sugar and butter talking about heavy, light, full and empty. The children counted spoonfuls, compared amounts and followed simple instructions. We then had fun decorating them and of course tasting them too!
