In Science, we were experimenting with friction! We were investigating how different surfaces affect the distance a car travels. We studied concrete, grass, wood, tarmac and carpet. We found that the smoothest surface with the least friction was wood and the car went the furthest distance, where as it travelled the shortest distance on grass!
