6J have been investigating the different blood vessels in our heart. We have been replicating how the heart contracts and ‘pumps the blood’ through the blood vessels by contracting our fists together in a bowl of water. The surge and power of the water was enough to splash right up and made us realise the pressure of the blood in our heart and heart vessels.
