If you think your child may be eligible for Free School Meals and Pupil Premium funding, please contact the school office in confidence. Your child’s experience at school will not be affected in any visible way, but the additional support can make a real difference.
We’ve noticed that many families wait until their child moves out of the Universal Free School Meals window (from Year 3 onwards) before applying for Pupil Premium. However, it’s really important to apply as soon as your child joins the school, even if they’re in Reception, Year 1, or Year 2 and already receiving free meals.
Pupil Premium funding provides additional support for your child’s education, including access to extra resources, interventions, and enrichment opportunities. The earlier you apply, the sooner your child and the school can benefit from this valuable support.
If you think you may be eligible or would like help with the application process, please don’t hesitate to contact the school office, we’re here to help.
