Welcome to St Hugh of Lincoln Catholic Primary School. Thank you for visiting our website and for giving us the opportunity to tell you about our school.

At St Hugh of Lincoln, our staff promote a strong Catholic identity where everyone is valued and encouraged to grow into well-educated, caring, confident and active members of society. We are a school that takes pride in working in partnership to create a strong and cohesive community, where everybody loves and looks after each other in our secure, safe and happy school. 

Our strength as a Catholic school is to be guided by the teachings of Christ, where we strive to create a community where everyone is valued, respected and, most of all, loved. The mission statement ‘will nurture, guide and educate’ permeates throughout the school, and I will continue to action these words and build on this for our children, staff and parents. St Hugh of Lincoln is a happy, caring, welcoming community, as emphasised by the words on the mural as you enter our school, ‘All Are Welcome’. It is my duty to ensure the gospel values underpin our actions and our words, creating an environment where children and staff feel loved and are safe, where they can reach their full potential, making the most of the gifts given to them by God.

We try to encourage an active partnership with parents, pupils, governors and the parish to help ensure the best possible education for each one of our pupils. We are aware that in choosing to send your child to St Hugh of Lincoln, you are making an act of trust. We set out to ensure that every child entrusted to our care is made welcome and that their time here is happy and successful.
