Today we added further coding on Scratch to our multiplication games including a multiplier variable and joining boxes!
Today Year 4/5 worked on Scratch to add more coding to their times table game including a ‘name’ and ‘score’ variable!
We have been learning how to program our own times tables game on Scratch. We have added our own backdrop, chose our sprite and added some speech. We explored some new coding blocks including the ‘if then else’ block.

The theme for Safer Internet Day 2026 was artificial intelligence or AI. Today we explored different uses of AI. We looked at different ways of using AI and we decided whether they were ‘okay, not okay, or if it depends’.
Today was Safer Internet Day so we discussed different scenarios including AI and whether the children’s reactions were responsible or irresponsible. We then created some strategies for how we can use AI in a useful and responsible way!
As part of our learning about computer networks we have learnt how information is sent via routers, we made our own packet data for our friend to re build.
Today we were responding to our classmates’ Google Forms in our computing lesson and then we collected in our responses, transferred them into a spreadsheet using Google Sheets and analysed our data! We worked out the average of our numerical responses and practised using conditional formatting to colour-code our responses!
