Today, Year 4D worked on creating their own Egyptian-inspired artwork, linked to our History topic, Ancient civilisations! They used a tea bag and water to create a brown washed look on their paper then used a variety of resources to add Egyptian-based designs to their page!
Today we designed art inspired by the work of Friedensreich Hundertwasser. We focused on using bright colours, wavy lines, and spirals as Hundertwasser didn’t like straight lines.
In Science, we have been learning about living things and their habitats. Today we had a special visitor in class, Shelly the tortoise. Phoebe brought in her tortoise for us all to meet and we all loved meeting her.
Today we were learning about observational drawings. We used our excellent observational skills to interpret details accurately to sketch a picture of a house.
