Celebration of the Word led by Year 5. First Sunday of Advent – Hope
Today we welcomed the Shed of Science to our class. They performed a play teaching us all about air pollution and how important it is that we all work together to improve air quality.
As part of cultural week we took part in a drumming and Bhangra dancing workshop. We had a great time and learnt lots!
Today we welcomed Mrs Noctor to our classroom and she taught us about Caribbean art. We tested different types of paint and techniques. We then started to build up our own picture based on examples we had evaluated.
Today we met Profe Sandra and she told us a little bit about herself and Colombia 🇨🇴
In our science lesson, we investigated how air resistance slows down falling or moving objects, exploring the factors that can increase or decrease its effect.
During our science lesson, we experimented with different shapes to see how water resistance impacts how quickly objects travel through water.
