Image of Hi Guys, a special hello from Mrs Heitzman

Hi Guys,

I hope you are all well and enjoyed celebrating VE day!  Did you do anything special with your family?  Did your street have a social distancing street party?  I can’t wait to see some pictures of all the wonderful things you have made!  My street had a party and we all had a nice chat from our gardens, it’s been really nice chatting to my neighbours more than I normally would, have you been chatting more to your neighbours as well?  I love hearing that you have been delivering rainbow pictures to people on your street what a lovely idea.

I went on my first bike ride in a long time this week, my husband and I cycled 25km for our daily exercise.  I was a bit nervous at first because it’s been a long time since I have ridden a bike, but I really enjoyed it!  I hope you are all still getting out for some exercise.

The home learning packs are available online now as Mr Mountcastle sent a text out to your parents.  There is no pressure to complete all of the activities just try your best and see how much you can do.  I bet you come up with some fantastic work and you can always email some work you are really proud of to school and I can have a look!

Well done Amelia for making such a fantastic t-shirt to say thank you to the NHS, what a good idea!

Keep well guys I miss you lots,

Love Mrs Griffiths and Mrs Heitzman.

Mrs Heitzman wanted to say hello to you all…

Hello year 2/3

I can't believe it's been 7 weeks since we’ve all been together.  I am missing you all very much and hope you are all keeping busy.  I have been spending a lot of time in my garden as the sun has been shinning.  Have you been in the garden too? I have been growing my own plants from seeds in pots and this week I am hoping to plant them in the ground.  I have been reading, spending time with my three children and my cat Dylan.  We have played on the Nintendo Wii, played Cleudo and Monopoly and they even tried to teach me how to stand on my head - which was a disaster!   On Friday we had a street party for VE Day and my neighbours all sat in their front gardens.  Did you have a party?  I hope you had lots of cake.  I  hope you are all keeping well and being good for your parents.  I can't wait to hear what you have all been doing when we are all back in school.

Lots of love Mrs Heitzman
