Hi Guys,

Hope you are doing well I really miss you all!  I will be making phone calls again this week to your parents so if you want to say hello, please do. J

The home learning packs are online; remember you don’t have to complete all of the activities you can choose which tasks you want to do.  It is important that you get some work done but there is no pressure to finish everything.  Reading, spellings and a bit of maths are more than enough, anything extra is fantastic!   Remember you can send pictures to school so I can see what you have been up to.  Remember to enjoy your time with your family, play games, exercise and have fun.   The weather is going to be really nice this week so make sure you get yourself out for a walk or a bike ride.   It makes me sad that I’ve missed out on all this time with such a fantastic class, but I’m so proud of you all.  I can't wait to see you all again.  I was thinking back to some activities and projects we have done in class.  Do you remember when we washed the Woolly Mammoth and wrote our own instructions?  How about when we created our own shadow puppets?  Or when we drew round each other in Maths and investigated whether the tallest person had the biggest feet?  How about when we had a visit from the Stone Age man?  Have a think back over what we have done in class, what were your favourite?

This week I have been for a few bike rides and finished another book, have you managed to finish any books?  Which has been your favourite?  It was my niece’s 9th birthday and she left me some Colin the Caterpillar cake on my doorstep, it was DELICIOUS!  My husband is letting me trim his hair this week, I hope I do a good job!  Has anyone in your family had their hair trimmed by another family member?  How did it go?  Have any of you learnt any new skills?  My husband Steven has been trying to teach me how to play the guitar, I have to say I’m not a natural but I’m trying my hardest and am going to keep practising.

This link is packed with fun activities for you to try -
