Dear Children, Happy Easter!
I hope you all had a lovely weekend. Wasn’t it strange not being in school for Holy Week and celebrating in Church? I really missed the Year 3/4 Easter production! It’s always my favourite part of the school calendar. I’m hoping Mr Smith will let us sing some songs from it when we get back to school. I had a lovely Easter weekend at home with my little ones. We had some prayer time together and spoke about the Easter story. We did an Easter egg hunt and had a lovely lunch outside. George has started walking, so he’s enjoying getting involved with Archie & Eadie. So far, my children have loved being at home together. We’ve played out lots in the garden. Archie’s learning to ride his bike and Eadie’s potty training (with not much success I might add!). We have a very busy home, as I imagine you all do too. This week with my children we are going to concentrate on some ‘home and life skills’. With the aim of helping out more around the house. Tomorrow Archie & Eadie are going to tidy the playroom properly after using it, and they are going to help set the table before meals. I would like this to be your focus at home this week.  Is there a way you could help out at home to make life easier for your parents and siblings? Aim to learn and put into practise at least two new skills this week. These could include, making your bed every morning, putting your clothes away after they’ve been washed, setting the table before mealtimes, washing up after meals, dusting, hoovering perhaps! This will help out so much at home and assist you in becoming more independent.
You also have work still on Maths activ learning and timetables rockstars. Try to spend some time reading too.

But most of all, relax and enjoy your time at home with your family. Hope you see you all very soon!

Lots of love Mrs Jackson, Mrs Atherton and Mrs Barlow xx
