We had a great morning ‘hot seating’ the characters from our current book Fantastic Mr Fox.
Although we still couldn’t get to the bottom of why the farmers all smell so disgusting, and why Farmer Bean only drinks cider!

This morning we shared a lovely breakfast with our friends. We acted out the Last Supper and discussed how nice it is to share a meal with friends.

This week we are looking at writing non-chronological reports. The children have created a fictional character and are writing about it in detail.
We have started practising for our Easter service. Unfortunately the service will just be just be for the school (I know a lot of parents have been asking). I will make sure I take lots of photos.
Today we had a lovely reflective morning thinking about the past year. We discussed issues arising from COVID and we thought the children displayed a great maturity and resilience. They make me very proud to be their teacher.
‘Marshmallows’ has been our English focus this week. It is a short clip about a boy camping in the woods and a vicious creature that creeps up behind him.
We have been working towards writing a descriptive setting as an opening for a narrative. We’ve been creating some super extended sentences!…
