Roman trip to Chester!
Today we visited Chester to learn more about the Romans! We went on a tour of the Romans in a museum, marched through the streets as Roman soldiers and visited some Roman ruins including an amphitheatre!

A visit from Peter Greenhalgh!
This afternoon, we were very lucky to be joined by Peter Greenhalgh, an experienced meteorologist and oceanographer who spoke to us about air pollution. Over the next few weeks we will continue to work on our air challenge investigation!

Multifaith week!
This week is multifaith week, and we are studying Hinduism. Today the children worked in groups to research and create a poster about a Hindu God. They then presented their findings to the class so that they all got to learn about some of the different Gods worshipped by Hindus.

Investigating reversible and irreversible changes!
In science, the children carried out an investigation into whether changes were reversible or irreversible. They melted and cooled chocolate and ice cubes, dissolved tablets in water and created some messy explosions mixing vinegar and baking soda!!

Class Liturgy!
Bella L, Evie and Lily performed a lovely class liturgy for us today all about pets and caring for animals in our world. They focused on loving and taking care of animals and showing stewardship. They read a lovely reading from the bible called Noah's Ark...well done girls!

Safer Internet Day!
Today is Safer Internet Day! We were visited by our JOSO's who informed us about the day and it's theme, we did a class quiz (and scored full marks!), we discussed some 'in the moment' online scenarios and the best ways to respond and we created our own recipes for respectful relationships…
