Our trip to Lyme Park
We had a lovely day at Lyme Park today. The children were so interested in everything we did; the Gruffalo Trail, the art work of Axel Scheffler, looking round the house and of course the adventure playground!

South Trafford Sports Roadshow!
We had a fantastic morning of sporting activities with students from South Trafford College. Each year they bring their sports roadshow to our school and we participate in lots of different games involving thinking skills and team work. We also donated nearly £90 to their charity 'Cash for Kids'.…

Fun in the sun!
Last week we made the most of the sunshine and took our maths lesson outside in the playground. We were looking at subtraction using a number line and counting on. Let's hope we get many more sunny days as the children seemed to get more done!! Thank you to our reception classes for lending us…

Science
As part of our States of Matter topic, Year 4 investigated the temperatures of different materials around the playground. The blazing sun meant that similar objects had very different results depending where they were.
