Lightening strikes twice at the football!

Following our win and draw from last weeks games the lads were in a confident mood to pick up all 6 points from tonight's fixtures. 

We won our first game 4-0 against  Moss Park Junior School, with two goals each from leading scorer Cameron Lewis and Cody Smith. Helped by very good performances from John Rossi and Sam Baker. The lads then went into our second game against Davyhulme in good form. This continued throughout the first half as we dominated proceedings, creating plenty of chances, however it was only through a brilliant individual goal from Cameron Lewis that we went in leading at half time. Knowing that Davyhulme were very good on the counter attack it was important that we extended our lead early on in the second half. We continued to create plenty of chances but just couldn't get a second goal. With just over a minute remaining the Davyhulme goalkeeper launched the ball into our half which we failed to clear and after a scramble in the area the ball ended up nestling in the back of our net. 1-1, that feeling of déjà vous descended upon us!! Another late goal and two points dropped as the game ended 1-1.

The lads remain unbeaten after four games, with two wins and two draws. Well done lads!
