At present an opportunity is given in the Autumn Term for parents to discuss with their child’s teacher how the child has settled into class.  In the Spring term there is an Open Evening and towards the end of the school year, parents receive a written report outlining their child’s progress and if necessary identifying areas where more diligence is required.  Parents and pupils have the opportunity to add their own constructive comments to their report.

Parents of Reception children have the opportunity to discuss their child’s profile during the term they start school, thus providing an insight into how the child has progressed.  Parents who wish to discuss their child’s progress at any other time are most welcome, provided an appointment is made first.

In addition in the first few weeks of term Welcome Packs are sent out by the new class teachers to inform parents of their child's curriculum and procedures for the year.
