Key Stage 1 8.55 am – 12.15 pm 1.15 pm – 3.15 pm
Key Stage 2 8.55 am – 12.15 pm 1.15 pm – 3.15 pm
Children should not arrive at school before 8.45am and should wait in the playground until school commences. All children should assemble in the playground at 8.55am when the bell will ring and the teachers will come into the playground to collect their respective classes and lead them into school. If it is raining the children can come into school to their classrooms if their teacher is in the classroom to receive them after 8.45 am.
It is important that your child is not late for school. Late arrival in the classroom can be upsetting for the child and can disrupt the education of other children in the class.
All children are dismissed into the playground from their classrooms at 3.15 pm. You should be there to meet them at 3.15 pm, if you are going to be delayed you should ring the school office so a message can be sent to your child and their class teacher that you are on your way.
We encourage the children to have a school meal which are wholesome and provide a good varied diet. Meals are cooked on the school premises. Dinner money should be sent into school each Monday morning in a sealed envelope clearly marked with your child’s name and class, the cost is £2.15 per day and can be paid weekly or half termly. If you wish to pay by cheque these should be made payable to Trafford MBC and if you are paying by cash please ensure you pay the exact amount. Due to the extra costs we currently do not use automated or electronic payments.
You may be entitled to free meals for your child depending on your circumstances, and if this is the case a form must be completed and sent to Trafford before free meals can be given to a child. If you think this applies to you contact the school office for a form. Children in Reception, Year 1 and 2 are entitled to a free meal but you must still apply for free meals if you meet the criteria previously mentioned.
