Hello 6E,

I can’t believe it’s been over 2 weeks since we were last together. It’s been a very strange time, totally different to life as we know it. I hope you are all adapting well and staying safe.

I’ve been very busy with my boys, Sam and Thomas, who, like you, are desperately missing their friends- but most of all FOOTBALL. What I’d give right now to be getting up at 8 am on a Saturday or Sunday morning to watch them play! You’ll be pleased to know that I have been practising my football skills so I’m much better than I was ( not really...I’m  still terrible). I’ve also been filling my time with cycling, walking and of course Joe Wicks workouts.

I hope you are managing the work that you have been set, just try and do a couple of tasks each day to keep your minds active. You’ve worked so hard and put such a lot of effort in......don’t stop now. You’ve got this! It will really help you when you start your new schools in September if you’ve carried on practising all the important skills you’ve learnt this year. I’ve a received a number of emails from your new schools, asking all about you, don’t forget that you’ve still got lots of exciting things to look forward to.

I hope you’ve all managed to log on to Activelearn, I’ve allocated lots of maths tasks for you, if you have any problems logging in, please contact  me via school  and I can remind you of your password etc.

It feels really strange that we aren’t in school during Holy Week, remember to think about the special events that happen this week, even though we can’t celebrate them at school or in church.

I can’t wait to see you all again, I’m really missing you all. Be good for your mums and dads -it’s tough for them too!

Take care and stay safe,

Love from Mrs Evans and Mrs Stanley.

P.S. I have accidentally eaten some chocolate- don’t tell anyone!
