Image of Hello again Year 3 !

Hi guys, how are you lovely lot ?

I hope you have been enjoying half term ?  It certainly is one we will remember hey ?! :)  I have found it a little strange as usually we would have lots of days out planned and trips to places with friends! We have had to be very creative with our time instead :) We did manage a little evening trip to Crosby beach to see the sunset and it was beautiful :)  The lovely sunny weather has really helped too and the paddling pool of course :)  Have you been having fun in the sun ?   How have you been spending your time? I would love to hear about it!  Remember you can email me any time!   I was so pleased when I got to see my Nanna this week!  It was only for a short time and from a distance but we still all enjoyed it very much :)  Have you been to see anybody that you have been missing ?  I am still missing you all very very much!  and I loved speaking to nearly all of you  the other week!  It was amazing to hear your voices and find out all the great things that you have been doing!  Edmund has taught himself to do a forward flip on the trampoline!  ( might give that a try myself ! :) Thomas was very excited telling me about the new dog he is getting and Bobby was busy making fudge brownies with his Mum :)  What I was most pleased about was how fantastic you are all being at home during this challenging time!  I am so proud of you all :)   Did anyone watch the Space X launch on Saturday night ?  Crew Dragon became the first private spacecraft to carry humans into orbit ! It was the second attempt for the two astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley and I know in  some places people actually caught sight of the rocket from their homes!  I wasn't one of the lucky ones, but I did enjoy watching it online!  Did you? If you missed it you can watch it here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Je1UXXMOBk  Imagine being one of the astronauts !  How exiting but scary at the same time !

As half term comes to an end this week there will be another home learning pack available on the website!  Remember to challenge yourselves to do as many activities as you can :)  Keep up with your reading and keep enjoying your time at home :)   Next week some more children will begin to come back to school, I am looking forward to seeing some different faces in school and my fingers and toes are crossed that some day soon it will be safe enough for you guys to come back too :)  Until that time though,  as it says in the picture, I am still your  teacher and I still believe in you all!  Keep being wonderful , keep smiling and we will see each other soon:)

Take care, love to you all

Big hugs Miss Moran and Mrs O' Connor xxxx
