Hi Everyone,

Looking forward to seeing and chatting with you all on Wednesday. I am sure you will have lots to tell Mrs Jackson, Mrs Barlow and myself about what you have been up to. I can’t wait to see how much you’ve grown, I wonder if you are nearly taller than me now. I saw Patrick in school the other day and I couldn’t believe how tall he had got!

On Wednesday, the plan is to see how you all are,  talk to you about next year and who your teacher will be. How exciting you will be in Year 5/6! There will be lots of time in the morning to  take part in some fun activities and possibly write a letter to your new teacher.

It has been non stop raining for the last couple of weeks, I’ve not needed to water any of my plants in the garden. Fingers crossed the sun will be shining in the afternoon, so we can have a mini sports day with Mrs Marshall’s class. Hopefully the King of Sport, Mr Smith will be out with us too, helping us with all our races. I am sure you will have a brilliant time!

If you can’t make it on Wednesday, I don’t want you to worry. You will still get your school report and if you want, let me know so you can pop in to the reception area and get a little leaving gift (sweets) from your teachers.

This is the last week of home learning on the school website. It has been lovely hearing how well you have been working. When I popped into the key workers class, I was so impressed to see the children watching ‘How to train your Dragon’ and  working on their impressive dragon reports. I must admit I have never watched the film but after watching the clip about the young Viking boy changing the way we see and treat others including dragons,  I now want to watch the whole film.

I really want you all to have a good rest over the summer holidays and come back to school ready for the year ahead. If you want you can always continue to use the websites given to you to continue with your home learning.

Oh before I forget, if you want to take your school books home, please bring in a plastic bag. Thank you!

Take care everyone, see you very soon
