Sakura Kindergarten, Japan

For many years our Reception classes have been writing to Mr Ishii and the children in Sakura Kindergarten, Japan.  We are so excited when a parcel arrives!  Mr Ishii always writes us a letter telling us about life in Japan and what the children have been doing in their School and we write back to him telling him what we have been up to!  Mr Ishii also sends Art work that the children have done for us and often other interesting objects!  As part of our ‘Understanding the World’, ‘Art’ and ‘Literacy’ areas of learning we write back to Mr Ishii and the children and we send them our Artwork and objects from our themes and learning.
