3D shapes everywhere
In maths we have been learning about 3D shapes. We have been using junk we have brought in from home to make aliens and monsters. We talked about the different 3D shapes we used.

Healthy living
Today Mrs Karran gave us the potatoes, spring onions and turnips that we had planted last year when we were in Nursery! We decided to clean and chop them and Mrs Karran very kindly made a soup with them that we ate in the afternoon, it was yummy! Thank you so much Mrs Karran :)

Fraction week fun
This week the whole school are focusing on fractions as part of their maths learning.
In Reception we are learning about halves and quarters. We had a sharing picnic today making jam sandwiches and choosing to cut them into halves or quarters.
