Halloween Fun
This week we have enjoyed lots of stories linked to Halloween and we have seen lots of Halloween inspired Role Play. Some of the stories we’ve enjoyed are; ‘Room on the Broom’, ‘Winnie the Witch’ and ‘Pumpkin Soup’.

All About Diwali
Today we were very lucky to have a visit from a parent who came to talk to us all about Hinduism and how they celebrate Diwali.
We learnt all about how Diwali is the festival of light and how celebrations include decorating homes, lots of yummy food and fireworks!

Vegetable Soup
Today we have made vegetable soup, we peeled, chopped and stirred and it tasted delicious! This activity was linked to our Literacy story this week ‘Oliver’s vegetables’, some of were just like Oliver and realised we actually do like vegetables!
