Dear Edward, Zarah, Dominik, Caleb, Esme, Ahmad, Theo, Rory, James, Oliver, Freya, Eva, Eoghan, Joseph, David, lily, Freyah, Isabel, Taylon, Harry, Lois, Sara and Alicia!
I can’t wait to see you all again when we are back at school. Mrs White and Mrs Blackwell are looking forward to seeing you too! While we have been off school I have enjoyed playing some games with Lucy and Ben and we have been doing lots of exercise in our house and in the garden. Have you been playing games at home? Have you been exercising? I have been taking my dog Max for lots of walks. I hope you like his photograph, he looks very sleepy.
Remember to practice your handwriting while you are off school and start your letters on the line. You could write a letter to me and tell me what you have been doing. I would love to read your letter when you come back to school. You could copy out part of a poem in your best handwriting and decorate it. Do you remember when we did this with the ‘Ning Nang Nong?’ I have put one of Paul Cookson’s poems on our class blog for you to read.
You might also remember that we started to learn a poem called ‘The Owl and the Pussy Cat.’ Maybe you could learn that one and write out your favourite verse.
This week is a very special week, it is called Holy Week. You could try to read the Easter story at home.
Have a lovely week,
Love from Mrs Smith
