Hello again Year 5!
How are you? I hope you’ve had a chance to relax a bit over the holiday.
I spent time catching up on jobs in the house (not my favourite thing) like decluttering and sorting. Lucinda has grown so much recently we’ve now got lots of bags of clothes ready to give to charity. Have you been helping out at home?
We’ve also tried to get fresh air whenever possible and have been out in the garden learning how to play badminton and looking after the flowers we’ve planted. Lucinda has enjoyed time playing with some of the toys and games she received for her birthday.
The new home learning plan for week ten is now on the website at:

Try to do as many of the activities as you can but don’t worry if you can’t complete them all. You work at your own pace and do what fits in best with your routine at home. I know from speaking to your families that lots of you are trying hard with your studies at home. Well done and keep up the good work.
I hope you enjoy creating your own flower art inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe - there are lots of examples of her beautiful work on the internet.
Over the past few weeks, we have been keeping in touch with friends and family on video calls and we’ve been taking part in quizzes, which have been fun.
I thought you might like a quiz to try. Why not have a go with your family.

Good luck!
Have a good week everyone - take care and stay safe.
