Dear Edward, Zarah, Dominik, Caleb, Esme, Ahmad, Theo, Rory, James, Oliver, Freya, Eva, Eoghan, Joseph, David, lily, Freyah, Isabel, Taylon, Harry, Lois, Sara and Alicia!
This week I want to tell you about the Trafford Schools Sports Partnership Virtual Sports Day. You can take part in some fun sports challenges this week by clicking on the link below. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPlNZyCivc4K-21nRye7hJA/videos
You should complete the challenges for Key Stage 1 and record your results on this link. https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/9ZPLZF2
Results have to be submitted by 3.30pm on Thursday 2nd July. We are hoping that lots of children from St Hugh’s will take part!
Did you see Lois’ photograph on our blog? This week there was a new addition to the Taylor family, it is Ralph! Ralph is a two year old French bulldog who needed a home, he is beautiful and Lois and her brother Ellis love him to bits! Last week I asked you to recommend a favourite book to your friends and Edward has done just that. He recommends The Darkest Dark by Chris Hadfield and you can listen to the story by clicking on this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxoG6Eug7jI
The author of this book, Chris Hadfield is a real astronaut which makes the book even more special. Chris was born in Canada and was inspired to become an astronaut when he watched the first moon landing on TV in 1969. This is what his story book is all about so Edward hopes that you like it as much as he does.
Why don’t you recommend a book for next week? You can email your suggestion to smiths@st-hughlincoln.trafford.sch.uk. I hope to hear from you, perhaps you could send me an email to let me know what you have been doing.
Don’t forget the Sports Day challenges!
Love from Mrs Smith
