Hi Year 1S

How did you get on with the virtual sports day? I hope you enjoyed taking part in the sports challenges last week. It’s very important to keep active so why don’t you have another go and  see if you can beat your own scores.

This week Joseph has a book recommendation for us. He loves Green Eggs and Ham by Dr Seuss so why don’t you take a look, you can read this book by clicking on this link -

Dr Seuss is famous for his funny rhyming books with crazy characters! He also illustrated his books, maybe you can have a go at drawing some of his characters.

If you have a favourite book, let your friends know about it by sending a photograph or email to me at smiths@st-hughlincoln.trafford.sch.uk

This week our geography home learning is about England and our science is about plants that we eat. It’s really interesting to think about the parts of a plant that we eat. Watch the video from the home learning plan and think about the food that you eat this week! I have just had my Sunday dinner and I’ve eaten four plants; potatoes, carrots, peas and broccoli. I wonder how many plants you will eat this week?

I am looking forward to seeing you all soon.

Love from Mrs Smith
