Dem Bones

In the EYFS we are very lucky that we can follow and develop the children’s enquiries and interests as they arise. This was today’s exploration - One child asked me to read a book “Dem Bones”, others gathered to listen to it, we talked about our bones, and we felt them through our skin. We have lots of things in our cupboards that we can get out for the children to enhance their learning, and luckily we have a set of x-rays - so we could see them too! There was a lot of discussion about our bones and what they are there for!
