Getting Ready for the Jubilee!

We have been talking about the Queens Platinum Jubilee.  We wrote a letter to the Queen and we all signed it. We made a card and printed corgi dogs because they are her favourites. We addressed our card and letters (the Reception children wrote one too) and we sent it to Buckingham Palace with love from all the children in EYFS at St. Hugh of Lincoln! We shared story time with our friends in Reception where Mrs. Doherty read ‘The Queen’s Hat’ and we celebrated with special biscuits that we bought when we posted the letter.  We had a great day, we had a walk around our local area, and we visited the shop, where we had different things to buy and we enjoyed seeing all the flags, as everyone is celebrating.
