Wassily Kandinsky

This week we have been finding out about Wassily Kandinsky. We found out that he was an artist who lived a long time ago and he was from a country called Russia. We looked at our globe to see where Russia is. Kandinsky liked to listen to music as he painted and he liked to paint shapes. When we looked at his colourful pictures we could see different things like fruits, musical instruments and even a slide! We did some work based on one of his paintings called, “Squares with Concentric Circles”.
