We Saw Concorde!
We have been learning about how The Wright Brothers invention of the areoplane changed the world as party of our history topic. We had a fabulous time at the Runway Visitors Centre at Manchester airport where we saw lots of different planes!

Earth Day Art In Year 2
As part of our Earth Day celebrations we have been learning about climate change and the impact it is having upon animals living in the Arctic. We looked at the art work by the artist David McEown and took inspiration from his polar bears in ice painting.

Year 2 Child Led Liturgy for Mothers Day
Today we held our class liturgy led by 6 children from our class, we thought about our mums and how Jesus looked after his mother Mary.

Our class liturgy
Today we shared the gospel of Luke and heard about how Jesus tells to love everyone, even those who are unkind to us. We passed around a cross and a stone, sharing ideas about how we show love to everyone and why our friends are special to us.

The Presentation of the Lord Liturgy
Today Zachary and Luka read from the gospel of Luke and shared the story of Jesus being presented at the temple by Mary and Joseph. We learnt how they met Simeon and Anna there who were very holy people.
