We Will Remember Them
In Reception we have been learning about Remembrance Day, we talked about remembering all those soldiers who died fighting in the war. We said a prayer for them and painted some poppies too.

Planting Bulbs In Our EYFS Garden
We have been very busy this Autumn planting tulip and daffodil bulbs with Mrs Karran. We now have to wait until Springtime for them to flower.

Jackson Pollock Art In Reception
We have been learning about the artist Jackson Pollock and his “drip technique” of painting, we decided to create our own class picture of fireworks after learning about Diwali the Hindu festival of light.

Sharing A Story!
We have been listening to and retelling traditional tales using our finger puppets and story baskets. Today Mrs Neville shared “Goldilocks and The Three Bears”. We had lots of fun pretending to the different characters in the story and using different voices.

Hibbah shared some her religious objects with us, Hibbah talked about her head dress, prayer beads and prayer mat. We also shared some stories about Eid and Ramadam.
