Counting our collections!
We used our treasures from our Autumn Walk for our Maths learning today. Once we had sorted the objects into sets we talked about which set had more or most items and which had fewer or fewest. To check we used 5 frames to line up the items using 1-1 correspondence.

Look what we found!
Today we found a snail, we picked it up to have a closer look at it. We decided to find a container to put it in so we could observe it. We were fascinated by the patterns on the shell. We then found a nice planter for it to live in.

Making Vegetable Soup!

In Maths we have been talking about matching and sorting, today we saw that the wellie shed needed a bit of a tidy so we worked together to match the pairs!
