May - the month of Mary
We have a very old statue of Mary in nursery, probably from around the 1950s. The children looked carefully at Mary and used the paints to make beautiful pictures of her. We talked about Mary and we have been saying her special prayer the ‘Hail Mary’ each day.

We buried a Time Capsule.
We went out with our school family and we buried a Time Capsule. We made a booklet of us dressed as the King and Queen of Nursery and that is what we put into the box. The box will be opened in many years when we are grown up - maybe our own children will be at St.Hugh’s by then!

Forest School week 1
