Today we enjoyed the banana muffins we made with Mrs white! They were yummy !!

Every Thursday afternoon children in Reception are going to take turns baking with Mrs White. This week's delights were Banana Muffins! The children weighed out ingredients, counted out equipment and followed instructions to name just a few skills they developed whilst having such fun!

Capacity

This week in our maths learning, we have been talking about capacity, we have explored different ways of measuring capacity and used language such as "full, nearly fully, empty and nearly empty"

Crazy creatures!

As part of our coding week we have learnt about algorithms! Even though it's a big word, we have learnt it just means instructions! We have been following instructions to draw our crazy creatures! We realised they were all different because the instructions weren't specific enough!

We have been learning about coding this week and how we can make a computer/ robot/iPad do what we would like by writing a code for it! We have had so much fun with this!
