Pumpkin Carving Fun!

We worked with Miss Carr to design our class pumpkins before scooping out the flesh and the seeds and carving our designs. We then put some magic tealights in so we could see our scary designs!

Halloween Story Club

We had lots of fun at our first Reception Story Club this half term! We read "Winnie In Winter" and talked about our favourite parts of the story before making our own Winnie Witches!

Electricity Year 5/6

A great afternoon investigating what happens when we add more batteries and bulbs to our electrical circuits and how this impacts on the brightness.

Conductor or Insulator?

Year 3/4 have been investigating which materials conduct electricity and which can be used as an insulator. They had great fun testing materials from pencils to paper clips!

Year 3/4 worked very hard on a variety of mathematical problems, it was great to see them persevering with the problems to find a solution!

Today Year 1 have enjoyed carving pumpkins. They were experts and are ready to write their own instructions tomorrow! They also enjoyed looking at some spooky books and choosing their favourite parts.
