We have had an amazing morning dancing and playing instruments with Miss Rachel! We have learnt lots of new moves and had so much fun as well. Thank you so much to Isaac's Mummy for teaching us!
As part of Year 1 Science we have been learning about minibeasts. Today on our hunt we found 9 different types of minibeasts in a variety of habitats-great work Year 1!

As part of our science topic we have been looking at how we've changed from when we were babies. We were discussing the question 'How do we change over time?' In our first lesson we enjoyed looking at photos and clothes from when we babies.
On Tuesday we had our first P.E. lesson. We had great fun exploring different ways of travelling around the hall using different body parts. Please make sure your child has their P.E. Kit in school for next Tuesday. Thank you!
This morning we have been making up our own dances to different music using ribbons. We were pretending to be flowers dancing in the wind and petals floating in the sky! We learnt lots of different ways we can move with our ribbons to the music - high level, low level, turning around,…
We had great fun in P.E. today playing games with the parachute! We had to listen very carefully to the instructions and work together as a team.

We had great fun in P.E. today travelling and moving in different ways, we marched, jumped, ran and walked to name just a few. We also learnt a sequence of movements where we pretended we were playing in the rain, jumping in the puddles and marching in our wellies!
Yes we can! Our new workshop is coming on nicely! Children in the EYFS will be able to use real hammers and tools when they come back after half term!
