We provide a range of wheeled resources in EYFS to cater for all our children, we encourage children to challenge themselves to balance, sit, ride on, pull and push!
In Reception we are learning to independently get dressed for play in the Mud Kitchen. Today cooking in our kitchen was “Chocolate Soup” which was even delivered to me by taxi! What a treat!
Well done to our Reception children who helped Mr Sandham today litter picking around School.
Every Monday we make our own Play Dough for the week. We carefully measure, mix and knead, at first we do this with the help of a grown up but by the end of the year we can follow the recipe by ourselves!

We have been learning all about Eid in Reception. Thank you to our families who are Muslim for sharing their special celebrations with us and for all the kind gifts.
We have been learning to play the Glockenspiels in our Music lessons with Mrs Ali. We have to listen really well and play in time with Mrs Ali. This takes a lot of concentration!
This week we have learnt all about Diwali. One of our class family told us about her family celebrations, we tasted Indian foods and we had our hands painted with mehndi designs.
Today we went on an Autumn Walk, we looked at the different changes that occur during Autumn. We looked at the different coloured leaves, the bare trees and felt the chilly weather. We used binoculars and magnifying glasses to observe the changes up close.
