Year 1 had a lovely time this morning when we visited Reception to read the books we have been making. All the children have worked hard writing and illustrating their books and we are very proud of them. Thank you to Reception for listening so well to our stories.

We have read two counting books; Handa's Hen and We All Went on Safari. After that we enjoyed being authors and illustrators as we wrote our own counting books. Here we are making our books.

Today we made tasty Advent Wreaths. We mixed melted marshmallows and cornflakes and added green food colouring. Then we made circles and decorated them with red skittles for berries. We are looking forward to tasting them!
