Year 3 were given the challenge of selling toys to the rest of the class. We had to used all of the persuasive features we had discussed, and produce our own posters.

Today, Year 3 have been interviewing characters from Fantastic Mr Fox, as soon as we sit in the 'Hot Seat' we become the character, we certainly have some future actors/ actresses in Year 3 !

Inspired by Andy Warhol we have began to draw portraits of ourselves. We will then use the same picture, but experiment with different colours. We have had lots of fun deciding whether we should have green hair or blue faces.

Dictionary Skills

Today we have been practising our dictionary skills. We read through chapters 4-6 of Fantastic Mr Fox, and highlighted any words which were unfamiliar to us. We then looked these words up in our dictionaries and wrote the definition into our book.
