In Reception we have been learning about Remembrance Day, we talked about remembering all those soldiers who died fighting in the war. We said a prayer for them and painted some poppies too.

Year 2 Rocks

We have been learning about Remembrance in class and making our own poppies.
We also watched a virtual presentation by a soldier in the hall, it was really interesting.

“Why Are People Wearing Flowers?”
The children wanted to know why people were wearing flowers - poppies. We spoke about how it is to remember people who have died in wars and we watched a short animated film about the poppies growing in the fields.
