Today we had a visit from Mr Doyle, who is a Watch Manager at Broughton Fire Station, he told us all about his dedication to his job and explained some of the things he has to do.The children asked lots of fantastic questions too!

The Toy House

This week we had our first visit to Toy Library. We had a great time exploring all the toys, we had our snack there and we did a really good tidy up before we came home! Margaret and Jan said that we were really good and they are looking forward to our next visit.

Exploring the Wind 1

We read a story about a little boy who had to find his mums washing when it all blew off the washing line. We washed the dolls clothes and then we pegged it onto the washing line to blow in the wind.

Exploring the Wind 2

We realised that the weather was getting very windy. We did a number of activities to help the children explore the power of the wind. We used some of our collected leaves on the parachute and we watched as they bounced and blew off the material. We also made paper kites to fly in the wind.
