Today we have been creating pictures in the style of Piet Mondrian, using horizontal and vertical lines, as well as the primary colours.

Piet Mondrian - primary colour mixing

Today we have been mixing colours using the primary colours - red, yellow and blue. We had lots of fun investigating the different colours we could make.

We went out into the ‘big playground’ with the footballs. We did a lot of exercise, running and kicking the balls. It was a fun way to practice our skills, thank you Mrs. Jackson and Miss Carr we had great fun!

Exploring images of artefacts in History

Putting the amount of letters in our names into groups

Today we wrote our names on whiteboards, we then counted the letters in our names and put ourselves into groups. We predicted which group would have the most in it. We found out that children with 4 letters in their names were the greatest group.
