Let’s Celebrate!

Chinese New Year

Learning about roles within the church
Today Mrs Heitzman spoke to us about her role in our local parish and church as a catechist. We learnt about what her role involves, why it is important, how she serves our community, the sacrifices she has made in her role and lots more!

Creating Egyptian art!
Y4 enjoyed creating some Egyptian art today! They used tea bags to create a papyrus background and then drew Egyptian style patterns onto their papyrus paper. They used oil pastels, charcoal and coloured pencils to add Egyptian colours to their artwork.

It’s Snowing!
On Thursday we had great fun out in the snow! We had been looking at the weather forecasts this week and they said snow was on its way! We were really excited! When we went back into class we had hot chocolate for snack to warm us up!
